Danyelle’s Approach
Healing is a journey, not a destination. I believe therapy should be a space of discovery, expansion, and transformation—a place where you can bring all parts of yourself without fear or hesitation. My approach is deeply client-centered, trauma-informed, and rooted in social justice values. I draw from Humanistic, Womanist, relational, and somatic perspectives while integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based techniques, and mindfulness practices.
In our work together, I slow things down, hold space for self-reflection, and help you explore new perspectives in a way that is both grounding and expansive. Therapy with me is not about rigid labels or quick fixes—it’s about deepening your connection to yourself, unlearning harmful narratives, and embracing the full spectrum of who you are.
About Danyelle
Who Am I?
I am a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker, deeply committed to creating healing, liberation, and self-exploration spaces for my clients. My path into this work was shaped by a lifelong curiosity about the human experience and a passion for helping others find meaning, healing, and self-acceptance.
I believe that therapy is an act of self-love, resistance, and empowerment, especially for those of us who have been told—explicitly or implicitly—that we must shrink ourselves to survive. My goal is to co-create a therapeutic space with you that honors your lived experiences, embraces your complexity, and allows for deep, transformative healing.

My approach is deeply client-centered, trauma-informed, and rooted in social justice values. I draw from Humanistic, Womanist, relational, and somatic perspectives while integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic trauma-informed approaches, Expressive Arts, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based techniques, and mindfulness practices.

About Raquel
Who Am I?
I’m Raquel Wells, LCSW, currently located on the unceded land of the Coast Miwok and Southern Pomo peoples, who are part of the larger Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria. These Indigenous communities stewarded the land for thousands of years before colonization and continue to have a deep connection to the region today.
I believe that healing happens in connection—with ourselves, our ancestors, and each other. My purpose is to hold space for you in a way that feels safe, authentic, and deeply human.
As a BIPOC, queer, neurodivergent healer, leader, educator, and artist, I know what it means to navigate a world that doesn’t always see or honor our full complexity. That’s why I’ve dedicated my life to helping people—especially BIPOC leaders, queer leaders, and women stepping into their power—find their way back to themselves. You don’t have to do it alone.
With over 25 years of leadership experience and 15+ years as a therapist, I’ve supported individuals who feel isolated, unseen, or unsure how to embrace their truth while standing in their power. I use a creative, intuitive, and anti-oppressive approach, integrating ritual, tarot, reiki, soul collage, and art alongside evidence-based practices. Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all, and together, we’ll find what works for you.
I founded Kinship Counseling Collective because I believe in the magic within each of us—the magic that gets buried under expectations, trauma, and the weight of the world. My work is about uncovering that magic, honoring your truth, and building a life that reflects your deepest values.
Currently licensed in Oregon and California, I live with hidden disabilities and know the power of advocating for ourselves in a world that often demands conformity. I’m also training my mini Bernedoodle service dog, Korra L. Lovegood, who reminds me daily of the power of presence and unconditional love.
If you’re looking for a therapist, mentor, or guide who will meet you with compassion, creativity, and unwavering support, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey. Let’s do this together.
