CLINICAL SUPERVISION
Virtual supervision for California residents statewide.
Supervision That Holds You Too.
Supervision at Kinship is more than a licensure requirement. It's a space to develop your clinical voice, process the weight of the work, and build a practice that is actually yours.
Whether you are working toward licensure, navigating a new clinical setting, or looking for ongoing consultation as a licensed clinician — we offer supervision grounded in cultural responsiveness, anti-oppression, and genuine care for the clinician in the room.
Therapists are human too.
Supervision reminds us that our work is not about perfection, but about presence.
What You'll Find Here.
Supervision at Kinship is grounded in the belief that good clinicians need good support. That means space to develop your own therapeutic identity — not perform someone else's model. Space to process the emotional weight of holding clients who are navigating oppression, trauma, and systemic harm. And space to ask the questions you might not feel safe asking elsewhere.
Our supervisors bring backgrounds in cultural humility, anti-oppressive practice, and identity-affirming care. We understand what it means to do this work as a BIPOC, queer, or neurodivergent clinician — and we supervise accordingly.
Therapists need holding too.
Good supervision reminds you that you matter — not just as a clinician, but as a person. It's where you become the therapist only you can be.
What We Offer
Supervision at Kinship is grounded in cultural responsiveness, anti-oppressive practice, and genuine investment in who you are becoming as a clinician — not just what you're producing.
We offer four ways to work with us:
Work at Kinship — join the collective as an associate or licensed clinician, with built-in supervision, consultation, and collegial community.
Contract for Outside Supervision — working at another agency or practice and looking for a supervisor who gets it? We offer supervision for clinicians placed elsewhere.
Group Consultation — a space to think through cases, get support, and build connection with other clinicians doing values-aligned work.
Individual Consultation for Licensed Clinicians — for licensed therapists who want a thinking partner, not just a checkbox.
Is Kinship the Right Fit for You?
Kinship is not the right fit for everyone — and that's intentional. We're looking for clinicians who are as invested in the collective as they are in their own growth. People who understand that doing good clinical work and being in genuine community with colleagues are not separate things.
If any of this sounds like you, keep reading.
You're Looking for Supervision
Supervision at Kinship is a good fit if you are working toward licensure or seeking ongoing consultation as a licensed clinician. Want supervision that takes your whole identity into account — not just your caseload. Are ready to be challenged, supported, and seen in equal measure. Value a supervisor who will help you develop your own clinical voice rather than hand you a model to follow.
We offer individual supervision, group consultation, and consultation for licensed clinicians. If you're working at another agency or practice and looking for an outside supervisor, we can support that too.

You're Interested in Joining Kinship
We're always open to the right person — and the right person isn't just about clinical skill. It's about fit.
Clinicians who thrive at Kinship tend to be deeply committed to culturally responsive, anti-oppressive practice — not as a talking point but as a way of working. Invested in genuine collaboration — showing up for colleagues, not just clients. Comfortable with autonomy and accountability at the same time. Curious about their own growth and honest about their edges.
We are a virtual practice serving California statewide. Clinicians work independently but never in isolation — supervision, consultation, and real collegial connection are part of how we operate.
If something here resonates, we'd love to hear from you. Reach out and tell us a little about who you are and what you're looking for.
