Clinical Supervision & Consultation

At Kinship Counseling Collective, we believe that becoming a clinician is a powerful journey.

Our goal is to help you on this journey—whether you're a therapist looking for clinical supervision, a future therapist, or a therapist who's ready to start your private practice. We want to help you find your clinical roots, and the tools and support necessary to lead your clients on their journeys of healing and liberation.

We know there are many ways to practice therapy, and we want to give you the space and encouragement you need to cultivate your unique therapeutic approach. We believe in cultivating genuine connections with our clients so that they can feel safe enough to explore the depths of their healing process with us.

We also believe in supporting each other as practitioners—and when we say "support," we mean it! Our model isn't just about creating an opportunity for therapists to learn from one another; it's about creating a community where everyone feels safe and supported in their practice as well as their lives outside of work. This is a space to grow and experience kinship.

We provide the following:

  • Clinical Supervision toward licensure in California and Oregon

  • Consultation and support on building a private practice business

  • Consultation for community-based mental health organization leaders

  • Opportunities to join our team and work in the collective as a clinician or associate

Kinship Counseling Collective is a group of therapists who are committed to providing culturally relevant therapy, creative choices, and genuine connection with our clients. We believe that when we treat our clients with dignity and cultural humility, they are able to deepen their healing journeys and lead more liberated lives.

Our mission is to provide supervision that supports mental health practitioners of color and/or who are working in a culturally relevant model. We support therapists in deepening their clinical expertise while also inspiring them to develop their unique clinical identity and voice. Our supervisors encourage a safe space for therapists to explore their work with curiosity and deep support.
